Lu Lyu
Lu Lyu's artwork focus on fluid geometry transformation through linkages and movements powered by motors. Her fascination lies in exploring the captivating storytelling potential of kinetic sculptures, where form is utilized to convey the simultaneous opposites within an object—soft/hard, stretching/squeezing, positive/negative.
How words lose their functional meaning is a recurring theme in her work. Her recent paper sculptures twist divergent strokes within a three-dimensional structure.
璐璐往往使用木头，电机，微控制器，在几何形变与雕塑的线条中寻找和谐。她喜欢雕塑，形态可以讲故事，她喜欢用雕塑的动态讲第二层故事。她的作品用形变展现一件物体同时存在的对立面，柔软/坚硬，舒展/挤压，正形/负形。
文字和意义的消解是她作品里反复出现的主题。她的静态纸雕将文字形变，变成曲面。
